Dr. Loftis & staff arei amazing at this office. I was very nervous abt my wisdom tooth extraction but she took her time with me, was patient & comforting which eased my anxiety. Would highly recommended this office!!!

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Sengupta in April 2025, with two coronectomies for the bottom teeth due to concerns about the teeth being close to my nerves. I ended up with dry sockets (which is not the fault of my surgeon), but I was assured that the roots would not grow back after healing. Neither of my sockets healed properly, and one tooth has fully grown back into the remaining socket, which never closed. I was extremely disappointed to learn from a different specialist that I now need another wisdom tooth extraction (possibly even a second for the other bottom tooth due to improper healing) and the re-growth has been painful. With the initial surgery using all of my dental coverage for the year, I am now forced to pay for another surgery 5 months later fully out of pocket. I am choosing another surgeon for this procedure due to my negative experience with Park Slope Oral Surgery. I would not recommend this office for wisdom tooth extractions.

Had my wisdom teeth taken out a few months ago and everything went super smoothly. Dr. Choi got all 4 teeth out in under 30 minutes, and I barely had any pain afterward. He gave me clear instructions for recovery, and I was back to eating normally in just a few days. Highly recommend

On Tuesday August 12,2025 I had oral surgery with Dr.James Choi who I will say is the best 🌟 He was patient, kind and very transparent with the procedure.His assistant Teuta was the best as well very supportive and attentive. The remaining staff was very nice the ladies at the front greeted you with a smile. I am sore but no pain. I recommend Park Slope Oral &Maxillofacial Surgery to anyone that wants quality care.

Extremely poor experience overall. I was referred here by my dentist and called ahead to check if they accepted my insurance. They said they didn’t think so, but told me to confirm with my provider. My insurance followed up directly with them, got a code, and quoted me a coverage percentage I was comfortable with. When I showed up, the office claimed they never spoke to my insurance, had no record of any call, and couldn’t explain where that number came from. No accountability, just a vague apology. Then I asked about the procedure cost. They had given me a quote two weeks earlier, but suddenly it was $100 more and they wouldn’t honor the original price. I waited over an hour while trying to sort it all out. Unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Doctor is nice if that counts, but plenty of other oral surgeons around the area.

Amazing experience! My wisdom tooth was impacted and I was in pain for months , the dental team is amazing fast and really helped me. I arrived at 3:30 for my 3:45 appointment. I had both my right wisdom teeth removed and I was done by 5pm. Waking up today I forgot how it felt not to wake up with pain in my tooth. Thank you to the entire team
