Very nice staff. Overall a smooth and pleasant experience.

This was my 2nd visit to this oral surgery office. I had Dr. Trina Sengupta for my last wisdom tooth extraction 2 years ago and had the pleasure of being under her care 2 years later to remove the 2 wisdom teeth on my left side. The office is quiet, clean and the check in staff are so sweet. They were up front about my costs outside. Of what my.insurwnce covered before starting surgery and I really appreciate the transparency. I decided. On doing. Just local anesthesia and did not do laughing gas. That’s my personal preference and everything went smoothly. The surgery went well. I received detailed instructions, a packet of gauze and some mild pain medication in the office before I left as well as a cold pack. I took the train home, had minimal swelling the day of surgery and am currently healing.

Watch out, they told me they take my insurance over the phone but hid the fact that my insurance doesn’t fully cover the procedure I was looking to get done, I wake up at 7am for my morning appointment, when I arrive I fill out the normal paperwork and sit inside the room, the dentist looks at the x-ray for about 30 seconds after he leaves the room I was informed by the desk staff that I’m gonna have to make a $1,000 copayment and remember they told me over the phone that they take my insurance, I declined the service then they hit me with a $112 charge because the doctor looked at my x-ray. They wasted my time, they wasted my money. They coulda told me over the phone that my insurance won’t cover it, or they coulda told me when I got there before I sat in the room. But instead they held that information from me and decided to tell me after the doctor takes a 30 second look at my x-ray so they can charge me under the argument of “The doctor looked at your x-ray so that an evaluation”

I have very bad dental anxiety and this is the first time I have had dental surgery and experienced zero pain the entire procedure, which was an extraction (I usually dread them.) I felt fully heard and taken care of as a patient and that is new for me. The procedure was very fast and they even gave me a blanket which always helps with my anxiety. The clear aftercare instructions were also a plus. I even asked if I could make Dr. Chionchio my primary dentist, ha! All in all, a very good experience, as I am usually reduced to a nonverbal trembling mess at any dentist, and this was simply not the case today. Thank you!

Great Doctor, team and bed-side manner.

I was very nervous going in with an international trip coming up and needed to make an emergency appointment. The staff and doctor put me at ease and honestly made everything a breeze. I was in and out consultation and extraction within an hour. I was very anxious but everything went smooth and I am healing nicely. Wish they could be my dentist!

Dr. Chionchio is a wonderful surgeon. I had my wisdom teeth removed this week and he was extremely patient with my tricky root extraction. As an example, I had my other two removed a few years ago with similar root issues at a different surgeon and within a few days my face was a balloon, but with this surgeon, almost no swelling or pain, thanks to his patience and dedication to minimizing trauma. The staff was also extremely friendly and warm. Would recommend this office anyone in need!

I want to thank my surgeon, doctor Sangupta and her assistant, Jenny for their professionalism and gentle reassuring manner which made me feel very comfortable before and after surgery. Thanks too to the young lady at the front desk who was very patient and helpful as she assisted me today. My dentist was so right in recommending this place.

Could not say enough good things about this practice. The whole office is filled with knowledgeable , kind, professional people. It is rare to find such talent and goodness in one place .
